In other news, my Savage Empire speedrun in 15 minutes and 27 seconds was published a year ago today, and is still the fastest run for this game.

The saving/loading is particularly nice in that it supports multiple save slots. This includes lots of changes including audio, combat, UI, saving/loading and more. The news, accompanied by a short video, describes the recently achieved milestone, 'Combat and Polish'.

Yulo Tomorrow published a new Ultima parody game called Bread Miner, in which Iolo needs to mine pieces of bread from the Stygian Abyss.Īs reported at The Ultima Codex, Iceblade (of the Forgotten World project) has been posting commentaries about Ultima 9, including one on Ultima IX's Economy and another on The Dungeon of Despise. I've added a link to this video to the Ultima IX Walkthrough page for future reference. Just yesterday, DOUG the Eagle Dragon added Part 2 of his 'Let's Break Ultima 9 - Ascension' video series.
